Want a fun yet practical car that delivers the very best of a convertible with the inspiration of a sports car? The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible is now available at Langan Volkswagen of Vernon, and offers drivers a ton of advanced features.
The Beetle Convertible is the most fuel-efficient convertible on the road, delivering an EPA estimated 41-mpg on the highway. With three engine options, CT Volkswagen drivers are sure to find the right balance of power and fuel economy in the new Beetle.
Since the type 15 Convertible from 1949, the Volkswagen Beetle has been one of the most popular open-top cars on the market. The fast-acting soft-top opens in an astonishing 9.5 seconds, seamlessly transforming the Beetle into a sporty convertible even at speeds up to 31-mph.
Langan Volkswagen of Vernon is thrilled to present the redesigned 2013 Beetle Convertible to shoppers. The dedicated sales staff can help answer any questions you may have about the functionality and features in the Beetle.
Klaus Bischoff, Head Designer, Volkswagen Brand says, “Retro is not our thing: we are always looking forward. Volkswagen has reinterpreted the Beetle Convertible’s timeless design with a sportier and more dynamic silhouette, just as it did with the Beetle Coupe. The car is substantially wider, has a longer hood, and has a more upright windshield that sits further back than before. The standard rear spoiler reinforces the car’s sporty look.”
The 2013 edition is 3.3 inches wider, 1.1 inches lower, and 6.0 inches longer than the 2006 version. The Convertible features a lower roofline than the Coupe, and the soft-top gives the Beetle a similar style to the 1949 type 15’s.
An ergonomic interior centered around comfort and control make CT Volkswagen drivers feel in command and at ease while driving. Simple and elegant, the interior of the Beetle Convertible mimics that of the Coupe.
