Irvine MINI, the leading Orange County MINI dealer, is excited about the recent launch of the new “Flow” commercial featuring the 2011 Mini Countryman.

The debut of the first mini crossover, the 2011 Mini Countryman and the 2011 Mini Cooper S are set to debut at Irvine MINI in January 2011.

To celebrate the expected arrival of the 2011 Mini Countryman, Mini has recently launched their new commercial titled “Flow,” an exciting adventure sure to increase customer’s excitement about the Mini Countryman. Directed by Brian Beletic, the commercial follows a quartet of stylish urbanites in a 2011 bright red Mini Countryman through the Italian streets of Milan.

Throughout the commercial, additional Mini Countrymans magically appear at every twist and turn, successfully dodging statues, people, and trolleys. While racing through piazzas and narrow side streets, the driver and passengers are shown to be enjoying their wild ride.

The entire city eventually is covered with red clones racing in an orchestrated adventure. The driver covers every type of terrain including golf courses, mountains, and tunnels. Each vehicle finally soars to a ferry in Lake Como, seamlessly converging into the original Mini, leaving the viewer with the words “Mini Countryman. Getaway.”

Using computer graphics, Beletic was able to use three Mini Countrymans to create the 317 featured in the one minute commercial. The producers of the commercial, SWAY studios, used its Drive-a-Tron software to animate the driving sequences.

With over 80 cars in one scene at one point, Beletic’s goal was to keep the commercial realistic regarding laws of physics. The Mini Countrymans are constantly separating and converging at will making the delicate choreography of the commercial an important detail.
